Protection Services
The Protection Services business unit is responsible for ensuring law enforcement and community safety within Mkhambathini Municipality. The functions within the unit are:
- Disaster Management
- Traffic Control
- Motor and Driver Licensing
- Law Enforcement
- Issuing recommendations for permits (mainly for taxi associations).
The opening times for the licensing authority follow:
Motor Licensing: 08:00am – 13:00pm
Drivers’ Licensing: 07:30am – 14:00pm
